Italian sailmaker CD SAILS developed its range of Optimist Class sails based on 40+ years of the unique personal world winning racing and sails manufacturing experience of Claudio Demartis in collaboration with professional Optimist coaches.

For Optimist dinghy boats, Demartis and his team have designed three different sail options to meet the needs of the sailors in various weight ranges and sailing conditions.
